To repurchase or not?

As a beauty addict, every now and again you are bound to purchase something and discover that you just don't love it. Some times I figure it out immediately, and other times it takes me discovering something I like more to decide it. Today, I'm going to be telling you about 3 items I won't be repurchasing.

The first on my list is Jouer's Tinted Moisturizer. Since the creation of alphabet soup creams and tinted moisturizers, I decided this summer was the perfect opportunity to try something new and lighter on my face. I purchased this tinted moisturizer after reading a few reviews. It's a light-weight moisturizer that does everything it promises. But it just didn't work for me. I prefer a more matte look, so maybe I'll try their matte moisturizer in the future. Also, I have seriously fair skin and this color was a bit dark for me. It's the lightest they currently have but it's still too dark for my almost translucent skin. Overall, it's light weight and has sheer coverage. It's a wonderful summer moisturizer but it just didn't work for me.
The next on the list is Klorane's Smoothing eye make-up remover. I'd run out of my Mary Kay eye make-up remover and was on the hunt for something gentle yet effective when I came across this. The product is very gentle. However, it seemed to work more like water than anything else in my opinion. Maybe it's because I'm an eye make-up person and I tend to have more there than anywhere else on my face, but this product just didn't do the trick for me. I'm sure it works for others because the reviews seemed great. I'll finish my bottle but for the near future I'll stick with my Sephora Gel Waterproof Make-Up Remover
Last but not least is Yes to Grapefruit's Dark Spot Correcting Serum. I purchased this product with hope that it would do exactly what the title says: correct dark spots. However, after a month or so of use  I wasn't in love with it. My skin would be flaky and peel more. It just seemed like it wasn't working. I read reviews before and people with dryer skin seemed to really not enjoy it because it dries your skin some in the process. But seeing as I have normal skin, I figured I'd give it a try and make sure to use a moisturizer. Personally, I just wasn't in love with it. It seemed like a little too much money for something that under-delivered. I don't think I'll be finishing this one up.
