A few of my favorite things. . .

We all have them. There are those few items in our cabinet that we just always go back to no matter what. We swear we will try something new but as we find ourselves standing in the isles, or clicking online, we go back to our comfort items. So what are mine?
First on the list is Kiehl's Lavender Bath. This beauty was a present from parents of a child I tutored in college. Now, being that I was in college in a tiny apartment, I didn't find that taking a bubble bath happened very often. My tub was small and my bathroom seemed even smaller. The idea of relaxing in the space made me more claustrophobic than relaxed. However, when I moved into my "big girl" apartment with a garden tub, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to take a bubble bath and try this out. Goodness, I had no idea what I was missing! This has become a staple in my bathroom and gets used several times a week for "me" time. I constantly go back to it and it never disappoints.

Next up on the list is my Beauty Blender. This little gadget or sponge, whatever you want to think of it as, was a splurge and a try it out item. I'd read so many reviews on it that I finally decided just to buy it and see what all the hype is and I was truly impressed. I use it every morning and it makes my make-up go on evenly and smooth. It's great for getting under your eye and preventing you from having heavy areas. I definitely enjoy using it each day and love that cleaning it keeps my skin even nicer.
Last on the list today is my favorite hair product: Beauty Protector. This came in my birchbox one month and I wasn't too sure what to expect. I've never been a big hair product person. I have straight hair that loves to frizzy but I typically do the wash, dry and straightener method with a bit of Aveda serum to help hold it down. However, I gave this a try because the ladies at birchbox were kind enough to send it my way. I've never looked back. This little beauty makes my hair soft and helps protect it from all the things I do to it with heat. I spray it on after my towel dry and brush it through. It helps settle my hair and just makes it so easy to work with. It's definitely become a staple in my cabinet.

These are just a few of my favorites. Stay tuned for more and reviews on the new products I'm trying. If you've got a product you want to hear about or have a suggestion for other products, leave me a comment below. :)
